Yes, I'm thoroughly embarassed about the metal loaded filler gaff. I've been a Chartered Engineer for over 20 years (though admittedly not electrical) and I've been playing with cars and bikes for much longer so I should definitely have known better!

Next question. Anyone know of an epoxy filler, that will set rock hard, but which is black? There is a grey one here in the UK, loaded with aluminium, which I may use to replace a chunk broken out of my distributor cap.

I'll paint if I can't find a black filler.

I have that 'halo of light' problem with a 6V halogen on my Bantam. Anyone understand the problem?

I had my Bantam D1 shoes re-lined by Charles Johnson Bus & Truck Parts in Beech Drive, Norwich. Excellent service, soft linings at £8 per shoe. I have two finger braking!
