When you get to the brakes, it might be worth getting the drums skimmed.

I would expect the braking surfaces to be a 'little out of round' by now.

Existing shoes can be re-lined by Villiers Services.

Every little helps..... :)

Agree.

They overhauled my NH head a couple of years ago.

Lead free valve seats,
Valves, springs,
Bead/Vapour blast,
Skimmed head ensuring that the counterbore was sitting on the liner spigot (I gave then the dimensions for the 'gap' required).

Recommended.
