You are very welcome Steve. I haven't owned an Ariel, so I have no idea what type of socket it has, but the one I gave a link on eBay is H4. So anyway, if it doesn't fit as is (and it probably won't), you will have to figure out how to retain the bulb in the socket. And put the bulb in the right way...

Here's a (poor) video of my bike's headlight (for the looks I have also changed the "parking light" to a white LED one, it's not yet in the video though): http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=cxpOGIrnbL8 The "clacking" noise is the light bulb tilting up an...

Hi Steve.

I have fitted such kit to my (non-old timer) Yamaha XT600. Works like a treat!

Cheers,
Tadas.

I've been suggested to heat a bolt I want to undo and pour brake fluid on it while it's hot.
Haven't tried that though.

Some say Coca Cola works too. Eats up your teeth, eats up your rust.

I'm lucky to escape with just WD-40... For now.

Cheers,
Tadas.

Without reading the text I looked over the pictures, and thought - this is barbwire with some small dead animal hanging down! (last picture) "How cruel" I thought. But after reading it became very funny, and scary at the same time. Just think of this: how many people (not only women, but m...
