KH500 Gearbox
Good day,
May I ask what is the correct quantity of lubricant to go into the gearbox?
I cannot find this information anywhere in the instruction manuals.
I'm using Penrite semi-fluid grease.
Thanks
John

Re: KH500 Wet-dumping
Simon & All,
Thank you for the inputs. I will buy as Simon has suggested and see how that goes. I was afraid of forgetting the closed valve and no oil.
Meantime I will adopt Richard Thomason's tactic.

John

Re: KH500 Wet-Sumping
I revert to this topic. Been away for 3 months and checked the bike, oil tank empty, contents in the sump. I'm reluctant to insert any type of restriction into the feed line. Is the right solution a properly functioning oil pump or was it always thus, that wet dumping was a hazard even with the best...

Re: Petrol tank taps
Thanks you for the responses.
Presently I have cork seals fashioned from champagne corks, better than the rubber and original cork but time will tell.
I will purchase one of those "Feked" taps and try to make it work.

Petrol tank taps
These pesky things just will not work right for me. The cork shrinks with the ethanol and I cannot get the rubber replacements just right. Are there a better type that will suit the original threads in the tank and match up with the rigid pipe unions?
Advice welcome

KH500 Wet-dumping
Good day all, I ordered a supply-line anti wet-dumping valve from Deraganfly, when I received it I was a bit surprised as I was expecting a manually controlled shut off unit. The one received (picture attached) seems to be a "light flow restrictor". My query is: has anyone experience using...
