Can you see the points 'arcing' ? If not, no power there. If a big spark there then its probably condensor.

You will certainly have problems if you use a Pazon system without resistor caps or plugs. I found out the hard way. Can't speak for other 'transistor' systems.

Try screwing the cam on to the end of the crank keeping the cutout on the cam lined up with whats left of the 'pip'. When the screw starts to get tight, check the alignment again and if ok,lightly tap the end end of the cam. No lump hammers !.Then tighten the screw home fully. As previously stated ,...

Hi Roy. Yes nylon liner. As it is a competitition machine I routed the cable through the frame also. Something that is difficult to do on a road bike.It helped a bit but not as much as the lighter cable

I made a new super duper heavy duty clutch cable for our hill-climber Jezebel. Big mistake, as it it really stiffens the action. We have a Suzuki clutch fitted. So I made another much lighter cable and the lghtness has returned. Its mostly to do with the tight turn the cable has to make at the gearb...

Hi Terry. You won't be able to use the twin output coil with the conventional points system. ( unless someone knows better)

We are using Sovek ignition on our hillclimber. Never heard of it? Niether have most folk. It is as yet untried with a running engine, but I have had it sparking.
