Huntmaster + Camshaft

Morning, After a bit of advice regarding valve clearance. I've just had to replace my head gasket on my FH as it had distorted + was blocking the exhaust oil return holes. Anyway got to thinking why it has always been such a rattly top end since rebuild 5 years ago, so I have been measuring the valv...

Clutch plates

Hello.
Wondering if anyone has tried the "Indian" clutch plates offered on Ebay?
Do they work, or can the club supply a set of 4 better ones?

Re: Gearbox Sleeve

Hello.
I've E-mailed Pete but not received a reply yet, otherwise I'm stuck!
Awaiting an E-mail from America regarding one - cost of postage might be a problem.

Hello.
Yes, it is the sleeve I'm after.
I thought the mainshafts were different lengths not the sleeves?
Any help locating one appreciated- not many autojumbles up here in the froxen north.

Gearbox Sleeve

Hello,

I'm also after a good gearbox sleeve (part number 3766-22); mine has become indented by the rollers causing the complete clutch to wobble so badly that it can rub against rear case!

Does anyone have a good spare so I can get my VB on the road again?

Re: Grabbing Front brake

Hello, Thanks for all the suggestions. I have stripped + cleaned the brake - it is better, but I can feel it coming back. Also, the linings are the ones supplied with the twin leading brake kit, has no-one else experienced this ??? I'm tempted to try alternative linings, I've had good results on my ...

Re: Grabbing Front brake

Hello Roger,
It grabs initially in the rain then behaves itself - same as when I first use the bike.
I'm tempted to try alternative linings.

Re: Grabbing Front brake

Hello All,
Many thanks for replies, have dismantled brake + cleaned - there was some dust (very fine + black) but not excessive. Just awaiting the rain to stop for testing!
Just remembered that it sometimes grabbed when used in the wet?
