Re: Arrow for sale

This Arrow 200 is advertised in our Newsagent's window again, reduced to £2850. The photos with the advert show the bike to be very pretty, chrome and paintwork (green/white) all looks new, if I wasn't 78 I'd be interested for myself! I have absolutely no connection with this bike or the seller, I m...

Re: Arrow for sale

I've had another look at that Arrow advertised in the paper shop window, noticed its a 200cc, guess that makes it even less interesting!

Arrow for sale

Hello folks, I've just seen in the newsagent's window, in Tenbury Wells (WR15) A pretty looking Arrow for sale--"Fully restored" for £3250. the 'phone number is 01584 711004--I think? The shop window was streaming rainwater outside and steamed up inside! I'll have another look if anyone wi...

Re: Restored Petrol Tank

If it's any help, there is an article in the August issue of "Real Classic" magazine, by a chap who had a big problem with the tank on his AJS. He took it to MTS Classics near Milton Keynes , who did him an excellent job. It reads as if they could handle a problem like Keith has.

Re: 1957VH For sale

Thanks Dave, Now edited and added price, I don't know how I lost that--------and the plot!! Pics available on request via email. I expect it will be going in OBM for Sept, (together with the AJS18S) just thought fellow Club members should have first chance. Failing all else , Brightwells are just do...

1957VH For sale

I expect I'll regret this:- 1957 VH. £3,500 A clean, tidy, straight bike, starts easily (good Mag) goes well, decent chrome and paint, but it's certainly not immaculate, it gets used. Has a rack and top box. Nice Burgess Air Filter but No FERC . The sidestand is a bit scruffy and the brakes do slow ...

Re: Pudding basin hemets

Hello Mr Belman, Don't bother about being 73, so am I, and I still ride my bikes, and-------there are blokes a lot older than us still; "at it". I just find kick-starting 500cc singles a bit much, if they don't go first or second kick (they usually do), I should have stuck to 350 singles, ...

Re: Grease level in BA box

I'm wondering why no-one has mentioned Morris's "Golden Film" Semi Fluid Grease (K400EP-NLGI No 00). I expect that is what Paul uses.
I've used it for years, in Porridge Boxes (and in my GB where it stops the oil leaking out of the speedo drive).
