Thank's for the replies. The cable connection is ok and the face cam is right as far as i know. I'll check the letter. An idea! Can it be wrong angle on the shaft in comparsion to the windings? I have read somewhere that its important that the windings are in right position when the ignition starts.

OK Nev! I think it's as you say that it was from the haed bolts under the rocker boxes. It has stopt now and I have a wery good compression if I keep pressure on the kick so I think it's tight.

Yes! I was running my bike again today. Everything is ok exept a little leakage between the cylinder an cylinder head. It is a no gasket modell: Is it possible to put a copper gasket from newer modells of VH?

Not fun at all John! I just now putting together everything. I got the cranc with new bearing this friday and had plans to start the engine today but it take more time then expeced to put all stuff together.
