Re: Telescopic Fork headlamp ears H25-46

Hi Roger,
The cones haven't been cut; I think this is a matter of fettling. Perhaps I'll just need to remove paint and possibly polish the inside of the steering head yoke casting. All else seems to be in order.

Re: Telescopic Fork headlamp ears H25-46

Hi Roger,
1951 top yoke; I thinks this is the same as fitted to the swinging arm models prior to introduction of the cowling?

Re: pinking

Hi, Could be that 220 is a bit small, but that really is not going to effect most of your running which is probably going to be on the cutaway/ needle jet. If you are worried about it, just remove the main and run without it; it only comes into play above about 3/4 opening. This will quickly tell yo...

Re: A question for VH owners - An update

Following David's suggetsion I fitted the next size piot jet up - No. 21. It seems to make a difference. The throttle slide drops lower so I am not idling on the cutaway so much, but on the pilot (throttle stop screwed out further). The bike ticks over at about 550 RPM (if my Chinese odometer/tacho ...
