Re: Downloading price list
Colin Does it offer you an over-ride for that? (Maybe for downloads from the website, or for that particular document?) I suspect it's something to do with your security settings but I don't know what software you're running or how you've got it configured. It's not a problem I have and I think this...

Re: AOMCC Forum HTTP and HTTPS
Gary It's not so much the cost (which is is variable, occasionally free but can be up to a few tens of pounds), more that the associated security certificates need to be managed, and that includes making sure they get renewed properly when they expire, which can be every couple of years. If I felt c...

Re: Repository
Looks to be alternators but we've not got anything as comprehensive for these.
It'll find it's way into the doc repository in due course - thanks!

Forum slow
Yes, the Forum certainly does seems to be having regular bouts of 'hanging' and scratching it's nose for maybe half a minute when people try to 'post' something. Please be patient with it, maybe count to 30 slowly before doing any more button pushes. I don't know what the problem is. I have my suspi...

Re: Magneto Magnet strength ?
So has anyone actually had any remagnetising done? From references that I can find, the advice is to try Tony Cooper, or Paul Lydford at APL (Shaftesbury). However, the link given by Will Curry earlier seems to point to someone who definitely still does this, and to 'modern' magnetos. Here's the lin...

Re: Magneto remagnetizing.
I 'stickied' the 'magnet strength' topic to be an easy-to-find reference for this topic - Matt is looking for the same info here so I'm locking this topic - please put any more contributions into the 'magnet strength' one: http://forum.arielownersmcc.com/viewtopic.php?t=13681 (And I've moved this fr...
