couple of thoughts . is the float level right , is it a brass or plastic float , is it adjustable float level or fixed , is the float cracked or damaged making it just sink . where the needle valve seat and banjo go into the carb they dont have a gasket at that point , it is a face to face contact ,...

hi roy ; hopefully ive attached some info for suzuki bikes . the motocross bikes use a wider gap . maybe measure the pin diameter in the ring groove on an ariel piston and then deduct from the 0.073" figure if they are not stepped rings , will give you an idea of the ring gap for a stepped ring...

i have the double dipper LED from dynamo conversions and it runs fine with an E3L dynamo and 6v battery , the headlamp needs to be one of the modern lucas ones though or else a cheapy one will give a pattern up i the sky on high beam . i think the lucas ones are what they use in the royal enfields i...

you cant leave the bike standing with ignition on and not running , this will burn the points etc out if done. the condensers should have a thick paper card type strip on them which folds back over the top of the nuts/stud/wire connection and insulates them to stop them shorting out to the cover pla...
