Re: Cheval and delivery to Europe

I believe that additional charges or handling fees don’t apply to printed matter sent to EU countries from the UK. Having said that, i haven’t received my CdF so far this year  I’m in Germany.
I am rather old school myself and would prefer to have the printed magazine if at all possible :)

Fieldmaster - crankshaft removal

According to "Waller's" description on engine overhaul, the crankshaft can be taken out after splitting the crankcase halves. Am i stating the obvious in thinking the con-rod on the timing side has to be removed first, or am i overlooking something :? The foto shows where i am now, any adv...

Re: '57 Huntmaster - Sludge Trap

looking back at Roger's foto of the opened-up 57 Huntmaster bottom end, i was wondering If the crankcase design for the 1955 500 cc KH is the same ? and if it is, how can the crank shaft be completrely withdrawn without first removing the timing side con rod ?? It doesn't look that straight forward,...

Re: KH 500 twin cylinder head/block removal

many thanks guys, that sounds straight forward enough and a usefull tip about leaving the centre stud nut Paul. For re-torque after bedding in, this nut hidden beneath the oil pipes looks barely accessible without disturbing the rocker assemlies, are there any tricks or correct ways of going about i...

KH front mudguard wanted

Looking ideally for an old original part, in any condition as long as it is useable.
Can collect in Germany and the Netherlands, also southern England/Wales.
