I was reading initially the bike was going to be called "Hunter" but I think Edward Turner wanted the name "Red Hunter" that was around 1936/7.

I think the FaceBook page can be interesting, but I would like to see technical queries and advise still being captured on the forum to allow for searches etc. The Facebook page allows chat between members on rallies, products meeting etc.

Just been through similar on my NH350. I found a local vintage tractor enthusiast who looked at the mag and found the magnets were weak.
He said my mag had been rewound. Also the bearing shorted to earth sometimes. The tractor guy had built a jig for magnetising mags. I did also have a carb problem.

John I found my new ignition switch is faulty, so I have modified what works on the switch. So it is just a simple on/off now. I was going to use my existing coils also. I never had a wiring loom and the original switch was damaged but I did manage to get the engine running last week using the point...
