Re: Arrow miss firing and cutting out
Hi Bob
I have now had to take the crank out as it has somehow worked loose and sheared the key that locate's both sides of the crank on the centre taper, I am am not sure if to tackle this job without sending it to an expert.

Big end removal
Hi all
I have had to take the crankshaft out as the key that locate's the two halves has sheared, the only way to get to this is to remove the big end pin so is it possible to remove the big end or would it be better to have it done professionally.
Thanks
Alan

Re: Arrow miss firing and cutting out
Hi Brian I would agree with you that a recondition carburetor can play up but i have now had the original one which was in good condition and this one so i have sort of ruled the carburetor out. I had an Arrow back in the sixties and never had this bother. I will update once i get the points back on...

Arrow miss firing and cutting out
Hi all
My arrow just will not run right at all, sounds perfect under load up to half throttle but after that miss fires and cuts out, it has a pazon electronic ignition running off a six volt supply, carburetor has been fully reconditioned and the engine is fully reconditioned.
Thanks

Re: Arrow 6v to 12v
Thanks Dave
My arrow above half throttle seems to miss and spit back so I think it's loosing it's spark or it is irratic at high rev's. My Pazon is for 6 or 12 volt but I assume I will have to use 2 - 6 volt coils instead of the 3 volt supplied.
