Looking back at your earlier posts I see that you have a 276 Amal fitted. The Amal documentation for the 1935 NG lists a 75/014 carb which is 7/8" bore and has a 64/089 float chamber with a 14 degree angle. Any appropriately sized Amal monobloc or concentric should handle the 14 degree downdraf...

Yes, it is and they are fairly rare. The alloy pivot for the brake lever is very vulnerable when the bike goes over and the combined unit was pricey even in the day so the broken pivot got chopped off and a separate brake lever added. That sounds like the correct adjuster to me. There is also a degree of adjustment in the actuator that the clutch arm - the bit that the inner cable connects to - acts on when the handlebar lever is pulled to free the clutch. I agree with Roger about the description. I like the 'original' missing air filter and as a 200 it would have had tank badges which proudly displayed its diminutive capacity. On the subject of missing it's nice to still be able to see the holes in the front mudguard where the front number plate once...

Interesting HS. I agree with 1954/55 but the air cleaner and presumably oil tank
on the other side are I believe '56 onward Mk1 only so something of a hybrid.
If anyone has one of those air cleaners going spare I'm interested. I have a NOS

The petrol tank doesn't give you much of a range between petrol stations. Back tyres don't last very long either. My right foot gets covered in oil courtesy of the raised oil level in the cam chest when the oil seal between the timing case and the magneto has a bad day. Difficult to silence with Mk1...
