Different approach . :D The mini generator now pivots on the tube that holds the rear brake pedal shaft. lower point where the generator 'cradle' slides sits on a extended engine through bolt. Lowest engine plate/frame bolt also extended to take the planned backplate shown below Model C elektra maar...

Just buy any late VH and swop the iron barrel for a alloy one.
Fit chrome mudguards + 1954 rear chainguard and 19" WM3 rear rim and 21" WM1 front rim.

under all the rust you will find that the two bottom rear frame tubes broke just aft the gearbox platform and also got shorter. see the rear spindle fork pointing downwards like on a WNG frame. It's what I found on my '28 frame. bending it could also make for cracks at the top just after the main tu...

Question:
New main for the Q box has both sides sealed.
My intention is to leave them both in.
But would there be a advantage to take the one on the inside out ?
The housing reaches over the seal but perhaps some grease would find it's way ?
