Maybe applying heat using a electric paint stripper pointing at the seam crankcase / barrel would help?
(or even two, one pointing at the front, one at the back of the engine)
This might take a while to get the whole lot on temperature, so be patient.

I did not notice before but he has put the fra,enumber in the ad. XG15843 so that's a WNG frame.
On the www I came across his website (cant retrace it now) There was a close uo of the crankcase.
The letters are almost polished out, perhaps they are LB , numbers 1520.
LB is '55
