Hi,
Now I found the code between the front engine plates.
The letters say PE, so it seems to be a 1954 VB.

Re: Ariel VB Bastard
Hi Simon, Yes, a nother number was stamped on the inner chaincase. The bike is running well , but nothing special. I was expecting more. Maybe the carb is too smal, (1 inch bore). Will put a bigger one, and ride again. I forgot to take a look for the engine number between the front engine plates. BR...

Hi, I want to introduce you a VB-ESO Bastard. The upper half are two barrels, one liner and the ESO Head. Does anyone has informations about this bike? There are some changes made on the frame, maybe the frame was a ridgid one before. Please take a look. Kind regards! Nick A78F5035-54AB-4F3B-BD7D-22...

Re: Frame number identification
Hi Adrie,
I was looking under the seat, there was done some welding, so the frame number will stay a mistery.
Will post some photos of the bike in a nother post.

Frame number identification
Hi,
Does anyone can help with identifying a frame, under the head stock I found the number ET 12xx. What year is it? And what kind of suspension should it have?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I think this are japanese wheels, you can dismantle the tls brake plate and have a look on it from the inside. There must be a sign or a cast in mark of the producer.
Kind regards!
