Mine is also currently in bits - but only for the top end & new rims painted to match the tank..
probably put some heated grips opn whilst it's apart... (yeah - I'm getting old).

Thanks all for your comments - close inspection implies the damage was done many yonks ago... nowt wrong with the other 9... & the fit is such that the shouldered bolt still picks up on the thread. Am probably gonna leave as is - but keep a weather eye... if worst comes to worst it might get spo...

One really should have changed the sprocket BEFORE the hub was re-laced into a painted stainless rim....
