Thanks for that Simon,
Have just looked at the tap on Feked, didn't know they existed!

53 KH oil line NRV
I am considering using a non return valve to the oil supply line on my Ansty link KH due to wet sumping issues.
Has any body used one or is using one? Am aware of possible pitfalls but not too
convinced about using a tap for obvious senior reasons!
All the best

Re: 1950 VB oil pump problems
Not seen anybody mention this but I had a problem with oil leaking in the same manner. After much head scratching and messing about it turned out that that the gasket in between the the inner timing case and crankase was profiled incorectly and was blocking the drain hole. Easy to check and fix.

club kh pistons / rings
The compression rings on my new set of club supplied kh pistons are different in that one of them is manufactured parallel and the other has a rebate /step against the contact face of the cylinder wall reduceing the contact area. KH engine breather
Trying to solve a bit of a mystery with my kh engine which has a breather valve assembly located on the rear upper rh crankcase. It comprises of the body and a spring and ball bearing.
