Re: 1930 Model B Running Problem

Mine is a top feed float chamber Nev. And its probably cleaner than when it left the factory having had it apart several times trying to find a cause. Now I'm pondering - this problem appeared after I overhauled the top end - valves and guides and a small end bush. I've checked valve clearances, and...

Re: Black Ariel identification?

Post some pics Ray - the 28 had a lot of unique parts, some photos would help identify parts which might be tricky to source.

Re: 1930 Model B Running Problem

If its slide wear then its come on quickly - its been running perfectly fine for years. And then it wasn't. I'll have a look. I guess I could try a different slide and see if that changes how it runs.

1930 Model B Running Problem

I have a persistent problem with my 1930 sidevalve Ariel. At 40-45 on a constant throttle I can feel it hesitating, then freeing, then hesitating. Re: 1952 VH Project

No flickers of interest then. Any thoughts on worth in its current state? £1500? More? Less?

1952 VH Project

Just looking to see if there is any interest in my project, and some idea of prices. So, its a 1952 VH. As it came to me it was derelict and it turned out it was a 500 VH motor in a KH chassis. Paul Jameson helped me retain the original registration number so I have the V5C in my name. Considering t...
