For Sale; Ariel VHA 1952

I previously advertised this VHA earlier this year in Cheval. She is part of a deceased friend's estate and is currently garaged in southern Ireland. This bike was originally registered in Belfast, this number being still on the bike, and there is a green old-style log book also showing this number....

Square Four Mk2

Hi all, finally got the bike back home yesterday. After an hour or so fiddling, she burst into life, and sounds as a 4G should. The oil circulates fine, through a spin-on filter[Draganfly extra], and the dynamo charges plenty; still on 6 volts though. All the electrics work except the headlamp, so t...

Why not give Martin Emery a try for a new seat. His details are on the back of Cheva; West Riding branch. Far better than the original Ariel offering and available in black or tan finish. Most of us here are using them on our swing-arm jobs. Cheers, Dick.l

'56 Petrol tank flutes

Hi, all. These items are unobtanium it seems to me. The ones I have may rechrome after some fettling by the look of them. I also have the mortal remains of the clips that hold them to the recesses in the tank. How have you guys got over these issues? Anyone thought about getting some made?

Late VH with push-in exhaust pipe.

Over the years the bore in the head gets worn with the passage of many exhaust pipes, so you can end up with a very sloppy pipe in an enlarged 'ole! Almost impossible to seal, and when you throttle back, you get quite a number of people looking round for the source of the explosions! Take the pipe a...

Charlie I think most fibre gears on singles get lubricated with the gunge that is always trying to escape from the timing cover, in spite of the breather!

12 volt dynamo systems

If you do some long trips at night then you will need 12 volt lights. Upgrades are not cheap, but the first time you turn your H4 headlamp on you will forget about the money! The first thing is to have your dynamo tweaked to 12 volts by your own favourite expert; I have used Sean Hawker and Merv Ken...

Headlamp shells for '56-'59 models

Anyone know the dimensions of the correct shell that fits inside the Cowl on late models? The ones on my bikes are butchered versions of the type used up to '56, but without the hole for the switch panel. Anyone got any ideas for a suitable replacement, or source of supply? I've seen a flatback one ...
