Hello Keith I capped off the oil supply tank outlet to the FERC on my VH and ran the breather hose from the Reed valve to the FERC connection to oil the chain worked fine, thought I might try connecting the outlet to the oil tank via this connection next time to see if it had enough force behind it ...

Mick I have just removed the stanchions on my 57 VH and they have not been out since it was built, like Simon Says I just wedged the slot slightly the only thing I did different was just slightly crack the top nut and give it a tap with a heavy nylon cap hammer they both popped off the taper no prob...

This is a 1/4 BSPT Banjo bolt and union, it looks like Draganfly motorcycles stock them I think the part numbers are 1556-54 and 1557-36 just check with them they will tell you if its the correct item.
