Re: VH goodies

Draganfly did run an exchange service of re-bored pumps, although very few need that service, as Dick says, most pumps need new balls, springs and a re-seating of the balls. Oil pumps don't tend to wear unless full of grit as they run in oil. Most Triumph pumps have the plungers the oppositte way ro...

Re: exhaust pipes for 1932 VG 4 valve

Eyeballs still vibrating from riding the SB all the way to Germany and back?
I don't know what you mean, my SB is as smooth as silk

The pipes are unique to the 1932 VG and there isn't a drawing of them in the archives.

Re: exhaust pipes for 1932 VG 4 valve

You should have been at the recent Sloper rally, it was really quite good, i am sure you could have borrowed some from one of the very nice people there. Sorry I only have an SB (Slow Bike).

Re: Singles - oil gauge takeoff

Ariel did occasionally use up a few of last year's parts or from the next year but it was only a few and not as widespread as people think. If your bike is 1950 it should have a triangular tank panel with an oil gauge at the bottom, closest to the rider. 1951 there is no gauge, the timing chest was ...

Re: Singles - oil gauge takeoff

I don't bother with the 'worry' gauge on a single as they need very little oil to function and certainly not at any pressure. The usual failure is caused by a bit of dirt in the return side of the pump that will not show up on a gauge that after the novelty has worn off we all forget to look at, usu...

Re: Single flywheel A7-836

There may be the odd flywheel missing from my list. Drawing A7/856 dates to 1947 so A7/836 will be earlier. When and if you find it let me know where and I will amend the listing.
