Re: Find bike registration details from a frame number

If you know the original registration but have no record, why can't you have it as a vanity plate?

Re: My NH 350 Piston

Have you checked the ring gap, it may not need new rings?

Re: VH cams

Thanks for the answers, folks. Sadly I did not note which cam is in my engine and understand it was the standard cam for the machine. So I will have to remove the timing case to find out. I therefore assume that the same pushrods are used for the same cam whether the head is alloy or iron.

VH cams

Hi, all.
I have an all iron 1938 VH engine fitted with a twin lobe cam. I also have a good single lobe cam and followers. Will they fit straight in, or will I have to change the push rods?

Re: petrol tank cap washer

An MZ cap washer for a TS250 fits straight in.

Re: Swinging arm single distance pieces

Hi. Check the attached drawing. You can probably buy one from Acme Stainless or Draganfly.

Re: Iron Head - Barrel Gap

I am a bit surprised at the advice on lapping in the head to the barrel. On my 38 VH engine there is a gap of very roughly half a millimeter between the head and barrel on the outside surface so there is no point in putting grinding paste anywhere else than on the spigot. Is this normal?
